The Scruncher Scarf gets its name because its size can be deceiving. The finished scarf is large, like a wrap, but due to the openness of the fabric, it can be easily "scrunched" and worn as a scarf.
There are two weights of yarn used in this pattern. Cotton Supreme Batik is a worsted weight yarn, while Whisper lace is fingering weight. The same size needle is used throughout the project.

Every 5 rows, you will need to slide stitches to the other end of the circular needle in order to come back to the next color. This instruction was not included in the original version of the pattern. The updated pattern now available for download includes this. (4/19/2018)
