PATTERN NOTES
This toy is knit in the round. It begins with a crochet provisional cast-on at the “waist” and the body is worked upward, shaping the body, neck, and head gradually. Safety eyes are placed into the fabric before stuffing.

After the body and head are complete, the provisional cast-on is unraveled and stitches are picked up from around the “waist” for the legs, which are worked individually in the round from the top down. After the body and legs are complete, stitches are picked up directly from the body for the arms and tail, each of which is worked in the round. Photos are included to illustrate where to pick these stitches up.

The ears are knit in the round individually and sewn to the top/sides of the head. Finally, a white belly patch is knit in in the round from the center out and sewn to the front of the body.
