PATTERN NOTES
Making Karakum is like going on a knitting adventure. At the end of your journey, you get the most wonderful treat- your new favorite garment! Extra special details include striped seed stitch, contrasting lace, and adorable short little fringe. This oversized cardigan is knit from the bottom up in pieces and seamed, giving important stability to the piece. The only shaping occurs at the front neck opening, allowing you to focus on stitches. Most of this piece is worked in a very subtly textured stitch pattern. So, once you get past the more intricate part at the lower edging, this makes excellent TV or conversational knitting.

There are options for Larger and Smaller sleeves for all sizes. The model wears size Extra Small/Small/Medium with Larger Sleeves.

Needles: US Size 7 (4.5 mm) 32" circular (to accommodate larger number of sts) or size needed to obtain gauge
Notions: Stitch markers, tapestry needle, stitch holder or waste yarn
