Azalea is a modern asymmetrical shawl that knits up satisfyingly fast. A combination of slip stitch cables and self-striping Deluxe Stripes creates a visually striking effect throughout the shawl.

MATERIALS
Universal Yarn Deluxe Stripes (75% superwash wool, 25% nylon, 100g/218yds)
• 301 Dragonfruit – 2 skeins
Needles: US Size 8 (5 mm) 16” circular or longer (to accommodate large number of sts) or size needed to obtain gauge
Notions: Tapestry needle, stitch markers, cable needle (cn)

GAUGE
20 sts x 24 rows = 4” Slip Stitch patt

PATTERN NOTES
This shawl is worked flat on the bias. Three stitches are cast on for the point, and stitches are gradually increased. In this pattern all slipped stitches are worked purlwise with yarn in back on RS rows and purlwise with yarn in front on WS rows

Errata

11/16/20 In the original pattern, there was a 'sl m' missing from Row 43 and a K1 missing from Row 61. These errors have both been corrected and the pattern has been updated.
