PATTERN NOTES
This shawl begins with the lace inset, starting at the center and increasing, then divided with half the stitches placed on hold. Each side of the lace inset is knit separately. Stitches for the ribbed border are picked up along the bottom sides of the lace inset and knit from the top down. Stitches for the body of the shawl are picked up along the upper side of the lace inset and knit from the bottom up. A diagram is included to help you visualize the construction of this piece.
