Kaye Cardigan

This cardigan was designed for the mother (Kaye) of one of our LYS owners here in Charlotte, Lyn of Cottage Yarn. Kaye owns a purchased cardigan that she loves, and wondered if we might come up with a similar style. Kaye's original cardigan has just a single button at the neck, which this cardigan could easily be modified to reflect.

MATERIALS 
Fibra Natura Cotton True Sport (100% Pima cotton; 50g/197 yds) 
• 108 Island Blue (A) - 6 (8, 9, 10, 12) skeins 
Nazli Gelin Garden 10 Metallic (99% mercerized Egyptian Giza cotton, 1% metallic; 50g/306 yds) 
• 702-28 (B) - 4 (5, 6, 7, 8) skeins 
Needles: US Size 5 (3.75 mm) straight or size needed to obtain gauge 
Notions: Tapestry needle, stitch holder, six ⅝" buttons 

GAUGE 
21 sts x 28 rows = 4" in Small Eyelets patt with 1 strand of A and B held tog

PATTERN NOTES 
The A-line shaped Kaye Cardigan is worked in pieces and seamed. Hold 1 strand of each yarn held together throughout the entire cardigan.
