Cladonia

Cladonia
Designed by Rachel Brockman
Cladonia is a charming pullover with a striking colorwork motif adorning the hem and sleeve cuffs. Knit up in Kingston Tweed, this sweater feels lightweight enough to wear when there is a warm breeze in the air, but warm enough to wear during the colder months as well. Twisted ribbing in a contrast color looks bold and beautiful. This piece is designed to have a higher neckline in the front than in the back, but you can wear it either way. The choice is yours, but whatever you choose you’re sure to look chic and cozy in this oversized garment.

PATTERN NOTES
This sweater is intended to be worn with a generous amount of positive ease at the bust and a more fitted sleeve. Choose a size approximately 6-9” larger than your actual bust measurement or choose the size with the upper arm measurement closest to your actual upper arm measurement.

This sweater is knit in the round from the bottom up. The front and back are separated at the sleeves, and sleeve stitches are picked up and worked in the round from the top down. Short rows are used to shape shoulders, and the shoulders are joined using the three-needle bind-off. Use the sloped bind-off for neck shaping.

Cladonia is available as part of e-book Kingston Tweed Volume I.
