PATTERN NOTES
This sweater is knit from the cuff to the center of the body in two separate pieces. It begins with the sleeve cuffs and after working the tapered sleeves, stitches are cast on for the body. The length to the center back is worked, and then stitches are placed on hold while the opposite side is knit. Then, the back stitches are joined using the three-needle bind-off. Stitches for the hem and button bands are picked up and knit flat. Finally, the collar is worked in a crochet granny stitch, with a single crochet border.

When working the Lace pattern, we recommend breaking your yarn at each color change. Weave in ends as you go to save time during finishing. You may wish to place markers between each repeat of the Lace pattern to help you stay on track.

Note – to maintain the integrity of the stitch pattern across all sizes, the gaps between each size are larger than is typical of most of our patterns. We recommend choosing the size closest to your actual bust measurement. Note that if you fall in the middle of the listed sizes, choosing to size down will result in a more fitted garment with negative ease, and choosing to size up will result in a more oversized garment with positive ease.
