PATTERN NOTES
These pumpkins are knit in the round from the bottom up, starting with a small number of stitches, and are shaped with circular increases and decreases. Ridges are formed with strands of yarn that are threaded up between two columns of stitches, down through the center of the pumpkin, and cinched. Finally, the jack-o’-lantern faces are worked using duplicate stitch. The faces are charted only.
Two skeins of color A and one skein each of colors B and C will be enough yarn to make both the Small and Large Pumpkins. Yarn is held doubled throughout.
