Cielle’s triangular shape is adorned with delicate floral eyelet motifs reminiscent of roses, adding an elegant texture to the fabric. Fonty Mongolia 5 (85% merino wool, 15% baby yak; 50g/98 yds)
• 0036 – 1 ball
Needle: US Size 8 (5 mm) straight (or your preferred needle for knitting flat) or size needed to obtain gauge
Notions: Tapestry needle, stitch markers, stitch holder or scrap yarn

GAUGE
16 sts X 30 rows = 4” in Stockinette stitch (St st) after blocking

PATTERN NOTES
This kerchief is knit from the bottom up, starting with a small number of stitches. Symmetrical increases on both sides create the triangular shape. After completion, stitches are set aside for the ties and worked directly from the body of the piece.

This pattern is both written and charted for your convenience.

Please note that this kerchief is written to make the most of one ball of Fonty Mongolia 5. You may need to unravel your swatch to use in the final piece, or you may wish to purchase an extra ball as insurance.
