Would the holidays be complete without a sweet peppermint candy cane? We think not! Their striking stripes are a seasonal staple and serve as inspiration for this cozy hat. The comfy folded brim will keep you especially warm during a nighttime stroll through the neighborhood as you admire the brilliant Christmas lights that decorate the homes and streets.

MATERIALS
Fibra Natura Donnina (100% extrafine superwash merino wool; 50g/180 yds)
• 207 Red Delicious (MC) – 1 ball
• 201 Vanilla (CC) – 1 ball
Needles: US Size 3 (3.25 mm) 16” circular and set of DPNs (or your preferred needle for knitting small circumferences) or size needed to obtain gauge
US Size 1 (2.25 mm) 16” circular
Notions: Tapestry needle, stitch markers

PATTERN NOTES
This hat is knit in the round from the bottom up. The brim features stretchy ribbing and the main hat features a stranded colorwork motif. Please note that in Rounds 11-29 (Small & Medium sizes) and 12-30 (Large size) there are a larger number of stitches between color changes. We recommend trapping your floats every 4-5 stitches to prevent puckering in your work.
