PATTERN NOTES
The Checkerplaid Hat uses slipped stitches to create the vertical lines of color. Only one color is used per round. The Zag Fade and Climbing Cables hats use stranded knitting to change colors. Hold one strand of each color through the round during the hat body for these two hats.
During crown shaping for all hats, when there are too few stitches to fit on the circular needle, switch to double-pointed needles.
