This shawl is worked flat in turning rows, beginning with the tip, increasing 1 stitch on one side of each row, and ending at the widest edge.

This pattern is written in crochet shorthand. For example, ‘sc 2’ means to single crochet in the next two stitches; ‘2sc’ means to work two single crochet stitches into the same stitch.
