This shawl is worked from the bottom up. Decreases are worked at the end of every stripe section, forming a somewhat crescent shape. Stitches are cast on at the beginning of every even numbered section and cast off at the end of the same section, forming little "tabs" on the sides of the piece.

The stitch pattern is both written and charted.

06/05/19 There were some errors in Stripe Pattern from the stitch guide and in Stripe 12. They have been corrected as follows:

Stripe Pattern
Row 4: P2, yo, * p2tog, p1, yo; rep from * to last 5 sts, p2tog, p3.
Row 7: K3, k2tog, * yo, k1, k2tog; rep from * to last 2 sts, yo, k2.

Stripe 12
Row 10 (Dec): Bind off 3 sts, k10, [k2tog, k9] 23 times, k2tog, k11 – 24 sts dec’d, 253 sts rem.
