PATTERN NOTESThe shrug is knit flat from the bottom up in two pieces. After each piece is worked, the tops of the pieces are seamed together, leaving an opening for the neck. Stitches are picked up and worked in the round for the neck and cuffs.
The top is knit flat in two pieces from side to side. After seaming, stitches are picked up for the neck and hem and joined to work in the round. Stitches for the armhole edging are picked up and worked flat.
