This shrug is a relaxed layering piece that’s easy to toss on and completes any outfit. Worked in simple K1, P1 Rib, the fabric is exceptionally stretchy. Universal Yarn Uptown DK Multi (100% anti-pilling acrylic; 200g/529 yds)
• 203 Autumn – 3 (3, 3, 4, 4) (4, 4, 5, 5) skeins
Needle: US Size 7 (4.5 mm) 24” circular or longer (to accommodate large number of sts) or size needed to obtain gauge
Notions: Tapestry needle, removable stitch marker

GAUGE
22 sts x 24 rows = 4” in K1, P1 Rib, unstretched and after blocking

PATTERN NOTES
This shrug is knit sideways in four pieces from the center back to cuff. Stitches are cast on for the length of the shrug and gradually decreased to the cuff.

This shrug is designed to fit with 8-12” of positive ease. For best fit, choose the size with a hem circumference that is 8-12” larger than your chest circumference.
