Galleria is a modern poncho perfect for elevating your winter wardrobe. Large cables framed with textural patterns make the process of knitting this piece exciting and engaging. Traveling cables add visual intrigue as columns of twisted ribbing emerge. The funnel neck is reversible, so you can wear it cuffed or uncuffed to suit your personal style. Knit in our anti-pilling Uptown Worsted, the fabric is soft and drapey with a subtle sheen that makes the textures pop.

Universal Yarn Uptown Worsted (100% anti-pilling acrylic; 100g/180 yds)
375 Antique Rose – 8 skeins
Needle: US Size 9 (5.5 mm) 32” or longer circular (to accommodate large number of stitches) or size needed to obtain gauge
US Size 8 (5 mm) 16” circular
Notions: Tapestry needle, stitch markers, removable stitch markers, cable needle (cn)

GAUGE
15 sts x 21 rows = 4” in Broken Stockinette stitch (St st) with larger ndl after blocking
Panel B = 7½” wide with larger ndl after blocking
Panel A or C = 2½” wide with larger ndl after blocking

PATTERN NOTES
This poncho is worked flat from the bottom up. Only the shoulders are seamed, and the sides are left open. Initially, the cable motifs are worked even, then Panels A and C begin to travel on the bias with increases and decreases worked on each side. After seaming the shoulders, stitches for the collar are picked up and worked in the round.
