Ennis is a county town in mid-west Ireland which lies on the River Fergus. Ennis translates to “river meadow” which is just so lovely for this scarf! The winding paths of the chevron paired with the blues and earthy tones of Colorburst come together to tell a story which you’ll craft with your crochet hook.

This pattern uses US crochet terminology.

This scarf is worked flat across its length. In the first row, when working into the 3rd chain from the hook you will count the chains as a stitch. In remaining rows, the turning chains do not count as a stitch. The first few rows may start loose and appear too long until multiple rows are completed to give the Chevron Pattern its structure.
