Panels of undulating cables and lace diamonds come together to make this graceful little cardigan. Cleome is perfect for year-round wear, thanks to Rico Design Luxury Natural Silk Blend’s luscious combination of silk, wool, and cotton. A slightly cropped length and set-in sleeves make for a tailored fit. Wear it open over your favorite tank or buttoned with the fronts flying away.

Rico Design Luxury Natural Silk Blend (50% silk, 30% wool, 20% cotton; 50g/125 yds)
• 001 Cream – 6 (7, 8, 8, 9) (10, 11, 12, 13) skeins
Needle: US Size 7 (4.5 mm) straight (or your preferred needle for knitting flat) or size needed to obtain gauge
US Size 6 (4 mm) straight (or your preferred needle for knitting flat)
Notions: Tapestry needle, stitch markers, stitch holders or waste yarn, one ½” button

GAUGE
18 sts x 26 rows = 4” in Cable and Lace patt with larger ndl after blocking

PATTERN NOTES
This cardigan is knit flat in pieces from the bottom up and seamed. In this pattern, work all slipped stitches purlwise with yarn held towards the WS of work.

This is a fairly delicate yarn. When seaming, for best results, we recommend using a smooth, sturdy fingering-weight yarn in a similar color.
