Lyrist Shawl

Designed by Rachel Brockman

Shawls provide endless inspiration for a knitter. A variety of textures and stitch patterns dance across the surface like music notes on paper. The Lyrist Shawl does all of that in our vibrant and super soft Wool Pop yarn. A slip stitch pattern and lacework in harmony together, while decreasing along one edge. Though the variety of techniques used in the Lyrist Shawl require your attention, you’ll feel rewarded every time you wrap it over your shoulders to go about your day.

PATTERN NOTES
This shawl is knit flat from the bottom up, working decreases every right side row along the right edge of the shawl. A garter stitch border is worked along all edges of the shawl.

This shawl is worked using the intarsia method. When changing to a new color, bring the old color up and around the new color to prevent any holes from forming in the piece. Use a separate ball of yarn for each section.
