Embrace the intrigue and beauty of this asymmetrical sweater, featuring twisting cables which creep along one sleeve and the entirety of its front. The thick and thin nature of the designs, along with the off-kilter placement, mimic vines which entwine their way around any surface they find. Its chic, tunic-length back, and opposite sleeve, are left smooth with a soothing stockinette which enhances the dramatic appeal of the cables.

Needles: US Size 7 (4.5 mm) 24-36” circular to accommodate large number of sts
US Size 5 (3.75 mm) 24-36” circular to accommodate large number of sts or size need to obtain gauge
US Size 5 (3.75 mm) 16” circular (for Neck Edging) or size needed to obtain gauge
Notions: Stitch markers, stitch holders, tapestry needle, cable needle

GAUGE
18 sts x 24 rows = 4” in St st with larger needle
23 sts x 24 rows = 4” in Small and Large Cables with larger needle
23 sts x 26 rows = 4” in K1, P1 ribbing with smaller needle

PATTERN NOTES
This sweater is knit from the bottom up in pieces and seamed. The left front and back are three inches longer than the right front, creating an asymmetric look. The collar is worked in the round after seaming.
