Universal Yarn Posh Alpaca (45% wool, 30% acrylic, 25% superfine alpaca; 100g/98 yds)
Two-Color Version
• 110 Admiral (MC) – 1 ball (all sizes)
• 102 Oak (CC1) – 1 ball (all sizes)
Three-Color Version
• 101 Birch (MC) – 1 ball (all sizes)
• 102 Oak (CC1) – 1 ball (all sizes)
• 108 Velveteen (CC2) – 1 ball (all sizes)
Needles: US Size 11 (8 mm) 16” circular and set of DPNs (or your preferred needle for knitting small circumferences) or size needed to obtain gauge
US Size 10.5 (6.5 mm) 16” circular
Notions: Tapestry needle, stitch markers, 2 (2½, 3½, 4, 4)” pom pom maker

GAUGE
12 sts x 16 rnds = 4” Stockinette stitch (St st) using larger ndl

PATTERN NOTES
This hat is knit in the round from the bottom up. The brim is worked in a stretchy, K1, P1 Rib. The body of the hat is worked in Stockinette stitch. Finally, a pom pom is made using color C and attached to the top of the hat.

Please note that the Toddler, and Child sizes require double-pointed needles or your preferred needle for knitting small circumferences throughout the pattern. The Adult Small, Medium, and Large sizes will begin with 16” circular needles and switch to needles appropriate for small circumferences during the crown shaping, when stitches no long fit comfortably on the circular needle.
