PATTERN NOTES
The Lemon is worked from tip to tip, increasing to the widest point and decreasing to the opposite tip. A single round in a contrast color mimics the top where the lemon would attach to a stem.
The Tomato is worked from the top down using circular increases and decreases. It begins with stranded colorwork to mimic the leaves and is then worked in a solid color. An I-Cord worked separately creates the stem and is attached to the top of the Tomato.
The Grape bundle features 14 individually stitched grapes that are worked in the round. These grapes are sewn together to create the bunch. Then, the Grape leaf is worked flat and shaped with basic increases and decreases as well as short rows. It is attached to the top of the bundle. The Grapevine is cast-on and bound off immediately in the next row and attached to the base of the Leaf Stem.
We recommend stuffing the fruit before beginning the decrease sections and continuing as you go.
