Buttercream Scarf

Designed by Rachel Brockman

Scarves are one of the many sweet treats of knitting. They work up quickly, make excellent gifts, and their size lends well to trying out lots of stitch patterns and techniques. Sweet and satisfying like your favorite cupcake, our Donnina yarn is plush, has beautiful stitch definition, and is soft on the skin. For the Buttercream Scarf, three shades work up beautifully in a striped and textured pattern. Knit as a tube, there’s no right or wrong side, and the double thickness makes this sweet accessory even more delectable!

PATTERN NOTES
This scarf is knit in the round from the bottom up. Keep all three colors attached throughout the project. Carry unused colors up inside the work. When changing to a new color, bring it up and around previous colors to prevent any holes from forming at the join. The Stripe Sequence is both written and charted.
